In the madcap comedy tradition of Lend Me a Tenor, thehilarious Moon Over Buffalo centers on George and CharlotteHay, fading stars of the 1950s. At the moment, they’re playing Private Livesand Cyrano De Bergerac in rep in Buffalo, New York with five actors. Onthe brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George’s dalliance with a youngingénue, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom:Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if he likes what hesees, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel.Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong does gowrong, abetted by a visit from their daughter’s clueless fiancé and hilariousuncertainty about which play they’re actually performing, caused by Charlotte’sdeaf, old stage manager mother who hates every bone in George’s body.

Performances are from August 29th-September 13th, Fridays & Saturdays7:30pm, Sunday, September 7th 3:00pm. Shows are held at the Spotlights Theater, 9543 BroadviewRoad (on the Broadview Center campus, next to the Police Station). Click here for Tickets.
 
The show is directed by Chris Bizub and written by Ken Ludwig. It features Patrick Lafferty, Eileen Burns, Caralyn Steck,
Debi Tinsley, Casey McCann, Justin Steck, Kaycee Craig, and William Bennett.
