By popular demand, Sankofa Sol Arts Inquiry Collective (SSAIC) is proud to
present a special one-night-only encore performance of the powerful and
moving play, You Can’t Overlove Anything at Lillie B’s House.


The Nanny Project is a groundbreaking, award-winning national storytelling
initiative that amplifies the lived experiences of Afro/Black and Brown
women nannies during the COVID-19 pandemic, honoring their resilience,
challenges, and vital contributions. You Can’t Overlove Anything, a one-act
play born from this work, merges the raw power of verbatim theater with
public, real-time poetic inquiry to weave an evocative tapestry of cultural
exchange, spirituality, and caregiving. Through the deeply personal stories
of Margaret (a nanny agency owner), Layla (a mother-employer), and Aries (a
nanny), this performance draws audiences into a poignant and intimate
exploration of care, identity, and the interconnectedness of lives.
