A few audition slots still open for the world premiere of Zach Barr’s
Winnie The Pooh


Talespinner Children's Theatre

Rehearsals start : 10/14

Performance Dates : 12/6,12/7, 12/12,12/13,12/14

   -

   with a possible added weekend April 17-19


  WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare a short retelling of your favorite
childhood story while using a prop that is outside of the object's intended
purpose. This can be done in a monologue from the performer's or object's
point of view, a conversation between the performer and said object, or any
other creative way you explore. Please bring a headshot and resume with you.

slot. Be sure to include your availability for BOTH days.

Roles:

The script is written with pronouns for each character as they appear in
A.A Miller’s book, this playwright has stated the following, “The decision
on the pronouns used by each character may be made by the actor playing the
part, and all pronouns across the play which refer to them may be adjusted
to fit that interpretation.”

   Winnie the Pooh: puppet, a forgetful and sometimes confused but loveable
   brown, furry bear
   -

   Piglet: puppet, a small animal that is cautious but gets excited
   -

   Rabbit: puppet, a wordy and self confident rabbit that is sometimes
   little judgemental
   -

   Eeyore: puppet, a thoughtful old grey donkey
   -

   Kanga: puppet, a kind and motherly, sometimes a little nervous
   -

   Baby Roo: puppet, a young, high energy kangaroo,
   -

   Christopher Robin: a young child, that often plays the role of patient
   leader
