This THURSDAY: Join us for SUMMER CRUSH!
September 18, 2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood
of Cleveland.
We will be listening to live music and crushing spotted lantern flies
together as a community!
We will have educational, resources and stickers, some light refreshments,
and materials to help us safely (and ecologically) crush the invasive
spotted lantern flies. We will also be learning about their invasive host
plant Ailanthus altissima aka “tree of heaven”.
We are meeting at the reading garden on the corner of W. 65th St. and
Franklin Avenue. There will be maps of the “stomping grounds” available as
well.
The summer crush 2025 agenda sept 18, 2025 from 5-7pm.
5 PM Franklin Ave Reading Garden:
-info, stomping grounds map reveal, resources, snacks
5:30pm -Heybertflex at the Franklin Ave reading garden, performing viral
hit song “you gotta smash”.
5:45 porch-stage musicians to begin performing during Crush Time.
-Roxy ‘Cuss’ performing on Diviya’s porch stage (west Clinton/west 65th)
-Vincent Paparella on Carol’s Porch Stage (bridge and west 65th)
-headliner: “Population of One” to perform at the reading garden
7pm event ends.
