The Cleveland Celtic Ensemble will bring its unique blend of chamber and Celtic music to the Cloverleaf Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
Born from a desire to marry the best of Celtic and chamber traditions, the ensemble weaves together Scottish and Irish bagpipes, whistle, flute, fiddle, harp and dance. The result is an ethereal style that captures both the fire and delicacy of Celtic music. Audiences can expect “blazing bagpipe duets, sublime harp airs, soaring songs, and sweet fiddle tunes — all in an ethereal chamber music ensemble,” according to the group’s description.
The performance will feature Brian Bigley on uilleann pipes, flute and dance; Kristen Bigley on violin; Ian Crane on Scottish small pipes, vocals and whistle; and Tiffany Schaefer on Celtic harp.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Advance purchase is available online at ormaco.org<http://ormaco.org/>, by calling 419-853-6016, or at Buehler’s River Styx or Forest Meadows service desks in Medina. A limited number of $60 VIP tickets, which include a pre-concert reception and the performance, are available online only.
The Cloverleaf Center for the Performing Arts is located at 7540 Buffham Road, Seville.
