When love, loyalty, and a little infidelity collide, chaos takes over in this sharp and wildly funny romantic comedy! As fate, faith, and identity get tangled in a web of outrageous surprises, one thing’s for sure — nothing at this cottage getaway goes as planned.

Performance dates: February 6,7,13,14,15*,20,21,22*,27,28, 2026

Friday & Saturday performances @ 7:30pm (NEW TIME)

*special 2pm Sunday Matinees

 

The Hudson Players is an all volunteer community theater. We do not precast. All roles are available.

 

WHAT TO PREPARE:

*Actors should bring a headshot or recent picture, and resume (if you have one)

*A list of conflicts from December 8th, 2025 to February 28th

CHARACTERS:

(ages are suggested, but may be varied from)

 

Sylvia: (Female, Late 20’s-40’s) A lovely and rash romantic



Beau: (Male, 30’s-40’s) Perhaps the best-looking man in Britain



Marjorie: (Female, Late 20’s-40’s) Eight months pregnant, pragmatic, and a tad spicy.



Clarke: (Male, Late 20’s-40's) A distinguished gent with a lover’s spirit.



Dierdre: (Female, 20’s-30’s) An awfully pretty, sometimes wise, nincompoop.



Richard: (Male, Late 20’s-40's) A murderous, yet gentle soul.
