AUDITIONS Sometime the Rain, Sometimes the Sea Monday, November 17 th Tuesday, November 18 th 6:00pm-9:00pm Murphy Theatre, Tri-C Metro Campus The Fine Print: All Tri-C students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to audition. The Tri-C School of Creative Arts is committed to promoting diversity in the casting of roles where race, ethnicity, gender, age and the presence or absence of a disability is not absolutely essential to the development of the play or character. Participants agree that by accepting a role or crew assignment that s/he/they will disclose all known scheduling conflicts and will not accept another role, position, or job on or off campus which conflicts with the rehearsal or performance duties of the production (especially critical in the fourteen days before and during performances). Rehearsals will be Monday – Thursday evenings, weekend afternoons depending on cast availability The Little Mermaid is Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved and well-known fairy tale, which is why it’s not the story our friend, Dolan, is going to tell you today. No, he’s going to tell you the story about a Little Rain Cloud who falls in love with a human. They are not the same story at all, he swears. This playful, quirky, loose adaptation of The Little Mermaid, about a Little Rain Cloud who falls in love with a human, unpacks some personal history about Hans Christian Andersen. ROLES AVAILABLE: RAIN CLOUD (pronounced like 🌧🌧 ) No age / A rain cloud, then a female human BESSIE (pronounced like 🐄🐄 ?) Age unknown / A cow? A sea witch? A human? A dream?
