>From Young Actor Intern to Broadway Star!

We love spooky season — and we love celebrating the extraordinary talent of
the young actors who began their journey with us at A Premiere Playhouse
(then Family Theatre Playhouse), a regional theatre in Columbus, Ohio, where
all TND musicals were originally written and produced.

Today’s “Ghost Post” features the amazing Jessica Grové, who played
Virginia in our original production of The Canterville Ghost. Even at age
11, Jessica’s voice, heart, and storytelling were unmistakable — and she’s
gone on to an incredible career on Broadway, National Tours, and regional
stages across the country.

Jessica has since appeared in beloved roles like Dorothy in The Wizard
of Oz National
Tour (opposite Mickey Rooney & Eartha Kitt!), On Broadway in *A Little
Night Music*, *Les Misérables*, *Thoroughly Modern Millie* (original
cast), *Sunday
in the Park with George* and more — and today she co-runs the acclaimed
Encore Musical Theatre Company in Dexter, Michigan, alongside her husband,
Daniel Cooney.
