*Business Sense for Actors* is a 3-hour intensive focusing on the basics of
the professional world of being an actor.

We'll cover finding performance opportunities while avoiding scams and
pitfalls, understanding your rights on set or in a production, finding
professional representation and more.

Learn how to find auditions, understanding your 'type', how to read a
breakdown, what an agent does and how to get one, and how to be your own
professional manager.

Things to know about the instructor:

   - Gregory James has worked for agents and casting directors learning the
   ins and outs of the representation side of the agency.
   - He's also worked on dozens of professional sets in both Union and
   Non-Union settings. No matter what kind of set you're on, you have rights
   as a performer!
   - The industry is ever-evolving and moving faster than ever post-COVID.
   Learn how the industry currently handles auditions, casting, and production.
   - Now more than ever, the onus is on the performer to film, edit, and
   track their own auditions. Learn how to be your own professional manager.
   - Gregory has averaged over 120 auditions and callbacks per year for the
   last five years. This can be achieved through a professional understanding
   of the industry and how you fit into it.
   - His training: BFA Acting – University at Buffalo / MFA Acting –
   CWRU/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program / Improv – The Groundlings
