Chagrin Valley Little Theatre — 2026 Youth Theatre Programs

Our Youth Theatre programs are dedicated to encouraging children and young
people in acting, fostering *discipline*, *self-confidence*, and
*responsibility* while instilling a lifelong love for the stage. Programs
are open for registration.

January Programs

   - *Beginner Musical Theatre Tap Class* (Grades K-8)
   Dates: Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: Introduces tap fundamentals, timing, and rhythm. No prior
   experience required.
   - *Monthly Improv Workshop* (Grades K–8)
   Date: Saturday 24th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: High-energy, creativity-boosting experience building spontaneity,
   confidence, and imagination.

February Programs

   - *Musical Theatre Audition Prep Workshop* (Grades K–8)
   Dates: Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: Develop essential skills for dance, vocal, and acting portions of
   auditions.
   - *Monthly Improv Workshop* (Grades K–8)
   Date: Saturday 28th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: High-energy, creativity-boosting experience building spontaneity,
   confidence, and imagination.

March Programs

   - *Playwriting Writers Workshop* (Grades 2–8)
   Dates: Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: Hands-on introduction to writing for the stage, creating
   compelling characters and original scenes.
   - *Monthly Improv Workshop* (Grades K–8)
   Date: Sunday 29th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: High-energy, creativity-boosting experience building spontaneity,
   confidence, and imagination.

April & May Programs

   - *April Monthly Improv* (Grades K–8)
   Date: Sunday 26th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: High-energy, creativity-boosting experience building spontaneity,
   confidence, and imagination.
   - *Intermediate Musical Theatre Dance Class* (Grades 2–8)
   Dates: Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: Explore Broadway choreography, musicality, and performance
   quality (prior dance experience recommended).
   - *May Monthly Improv* (Grades K–8)
   Date: Sunday 17th, 10:00–11:30 am.
   Focus: High-energy, creativity-boosting experience building spontaneity,
   confidence, and imagination.

June: Summer Camp 2026

   - *3-Week Summer Intensive* (Grades K–8)
   Dates: June 8th–25th (Mon-Fri) | 9:00 am – 2:00 pm Daily.
   Focus: Comprehensive program exploring acting, vocal coaching, dance,
   and technical theatre work, culminating in a *fully staged production*.
   Show Dates: Friday 26th (7pm), Saturday 27th (2pm and 7pm), Sunday 28th
   (2pm).
