1. Call for Cleveland Artists and Designers: Create the 2026 Festival Branding

BorderLight is seeking a local artist or designer to create the official visual identity for the 2026 Festival. We are looking for someone whose work feels adventurous, unexpected, playful, or thought provoking. The selected artwork will be featured across the Festival Guide, digital media, our website, and more.

Deadline: December 15, 2025.

Project and payment
* The selected artist will develop three color sketch concepts and receive a $100 payment upon delivery.
* One concept will be chosen for full development.
* Final artwork is due January 30, 2026, with a final payment of $700 upon completion.

2. BorderLight Fringe Festival 2026 - Call for Artists

Applications are now open for the BorderLight Fringe Festival, lighting up Cleveland's Playhouse Square District July 8 to 11, 2026. The Fringe is where adventurous, self-produced work takes center stage, featuring artists from Cleveland and around the world in theatre, movement, music, performance art, immersive experiences, and more.

Artists receive 60% of ticket revenue for ticketed shows or an artist stipend for free performances. BorderLight provides the venue, box office, marketing, and technical support so you can focus on creating the work you want to share.
