Academy for Dramatic Arts is HIRING:
[image: 🎭]*Managing Director for Our Upcoming Production!*
We’re looking for a highly organized, communication-driven Managing
Director to help lead our next show! This role is perfect for someone who
loves theatre, enjoys working with youth and families, and is great at
keeping all the moving parts of a production running smoothly.
[image: ✨] What You’ll Do
Venue & Scheduling
• Coordinate show dates with venue
• Approve & schedule build days
• Organize load-ins, tech checks, & strike
• Help create the full production calendar
Administration & Staffing
• Set up Google Drive & Band app
• Post job listings & schedule interviews
• Run background checks
• Handle contracts, W-9s, and payment info
• Track budgets
• Send weekly updates to cast & families
Financial & Licensing
• Help build the production budget
• Secure licensing for the show & music
Marketing & Promotion
• Work with marketing team
• Promote auditions & ticket sales
• Update website & ticketing platform
• Maintain social media
• Create digital & printed programs
• Hire photographer for dress rehearsal
Youth & Parent Communication
• Collect photo releases
• Manage volunteer opportunities
• Run snack sign-ups, gift exchange, & more
• Recruit leads for Tech Night & Cast Party
Front of House
• Plan FOH with director
• Schedule FOH volunteers for performances
