[NEohioPAL] Celebration of the Wonder That Is Ron Newell

The Clague Playhouse family is honored that Ron’s beloved Mimi Schwensen 
has invited us to host you, who also love him.

*Sunday, January 18, 2026, 1 PM – 6 PM,
Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake Ohio*

Mimi declared: “A light and happy celebration”.

She hopes that this open-house-style, extended gathering will allow all 
who may be creating theater that day to come when convenient for them. 
Join when you can, stay as you like.

Her wish is that you will mirror Ron’s own style – for he was the master 
storyteller. Chat with friends – /share //Ron stories/.

In that vein, now she invites anyone to write out just two or three 
sentences. Your best memory. Email to AMcEvoy13 at gmail.com or text to 
216-536-0934. By January 13. We will print and post them around the 
Playhouse that day.

To allow seating for more than our 93 seats, a few friends will present 
three-minute remarks at 2:30 and 4 PM.
