STORY OF VICTORIA WOODHULL

Hear the amazing story of one of Ohio’s most remarkable and trailblazing
women. Born into poverty with little formal schooling, she rose to become
the first woman to address the United States Congress, the first female
stockbroker on Wall Street, a newspaper publisher, an outspoken advocate
for women’s rights — and in 1872, the first woman to run for President of
the United States, at a time when women couldn’t even vote. Enrollment fee

THAT? as part of their America 250 celebration. Find out about the Ohio
inventors who gave us traffic signals, astronaut suits, saran wrap, Life
Savers Candy and more! Tickets are FREE for members; $7 for non-members and
include a self-guided tour of the museum in addition to the program. For

AMERICAN SPIRITS at the Milan Library

at 19 Church St. in Milan, OH. Join us for this storytelling program and
meet some unique ghosts as you take a ride with Tempe Wick as she tries to
save her beloved horse from deserters from the Continental Army, meet
Frances Dallam who wants to make sure the Union Soldiers are taken care of,
visit Mall of America's spirited past, and find out why Reindeer Manor is
haunted. The program is FREE and open to the public. For more information,
