*Chagrin Valley Little Theatre presents the big-hearted comedy "The Bigfoot
Letters" on its second stage in March*

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH – Chagrin Valley Little Theatre (CVLT) is thrilled to
announce its upcoming production of THE BIGFOOT LETTERS, written by Russel
Stich and Nancy Nixon. This fast-paced, uproarious and unpredictable
adventure will run from March 6 through March 15, 2026, at CVLT’s River
Street Playhouse - 56 River Street, just west of the main CVLT building in
Chagrin Falls. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays March 6, 7, 13, and 14
at 7:30 PM, and Sundays March 8 and 15 at 2:00 PM. General admission
tickets are available for $15 in advance or at the door.

THE BIGFOOT LETTERS tells the story of Sheila Hartman (Kate Smith), a woman
from rural southern Ohio whose life is turned upside down when she
accidentally hits a Bigfoot with her pickup truck. After deciding to raise
the orphaned baby Sasquatch as her own, Sheila enlists the help of amateur
investigator Roger Korman (Craig Gifford). The situation quickly spirals
into a "chase across the countryside" involving Sheila’s meddling sister
Stella (Lisa Freebairn), a local "blow-hard" Pastor (Tom Greene), and the
town Sheriff (Neil Rubin). The journey includes stops at a Bigfoot
Symposium and Renaissance Faire before converging at the Freak Farm of
Squirrelly Joe (Harrison Rosenberger) to decide the infant creature's fate.

Directed by Laurel Bryant, the production also features John Hickman,
Jessie Canavan, Zozo Turk, Elizabeth Davidson, and Theresa Dean.

THE BIGFOOT LETTERS has been praised by critics for delivering on the
promise of silliness and generating a lot of energy. Although it is an
absurdist comedy, encouraging audiences to suspend disbelief and enjoy the
outrageous situations presented on stage, it is also a story with heart
that explores themes of hope, empathy, and how we choose our families.

With its minimal scenery and fast-paced, joke-laden writing, the play's
focus remains on the literally "larger than life" characters and their
hilarious interactions. It is the perfect fare for CVLT's intimate River
Street Playhouse, which seats a quarter of the main CVLT house capacity,
offering every audience member a close view of this wild story.
