​Please be prepared to sing what best shows off your voice and range, and have a short, prepared monologue. Please bring sheet music in your key.  Accompanist provided.  No a cappella or recorded tracks, please.

ROLES TO BE CAST:
·      BEN FRANKLIN: Although the well-known patriot is 82 years old and limps due to his gout, his mind is still active, and he is pursuing his goal of writing his memoirs. VOCAL RANGE Bb2 – F4
·      RICHARD (from Poor Richard’s Almanac). Unlike Ben, Richard is ageless, somewhere between 26 and 52. VOCAL RANGE Bb2 – F4
·      DEBBY, DEBORAH READ FRANKLIN (Ben’s wife) is a successful businessperson in her own right. Two years younger than Ben, in the show, she ranges in age from mid-forties to sixty-six, her age when she died. VOCAL RANGE C4-E5
·      FOUR CHORUS MEMBERS, SATB play multiple roles. 
·      BOY with a whistle: 10-12 years old
