CITY BALLET OF CLEVELAND COMPANY AUDITION
 

(Cleveland, OH) – City Ballet of Cleveland (CBC) will hold its annual audition on Sunday, April 19 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Cleveland City Dance.  The audition is open to all serious dancers of ballet ages 10-21.  Potential dancers should have at least two years of ballet training and be currently taking ballet and jazz and/or modern. The company has two annual performances including the Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker in December and the Spring Repertoire Concert in May. The company also performs at local schools, community centers and festivals. The audition consists of a ballet class taught by CBC’s Artistic Director, Courtney J. Laves-Mearini. A mandatory parent meeting will follow the audition class from 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm. 
 

Dancers interested in auditioning are asked to submit the application form and $30 audition fee by Thursday, April 16, 2026. Application forms are available online http://www.cityballetofcleveland.org. Potential dancers do not need to be students at Cleveland City Dance but are expected to maintain their training at their current studio and/or Cleveland City Dance for the duration of the season.  If unable to attend the audition one may submit a video link by Saturday, April 11, 2026.
