"Beautiful: The Carole King Musical"

*Tony and Grammy Award-Winning Bio-Musical Takes the Stage March 27 through
April 19*

*CHAGRIN FALLS, OH* — *Chagrin Valley Little Theatre (CVLT)* is proud to
present the inspiring true story of a music legend in *Beautiful: The
Carole King Musical*. Running from *March 27 through April 19, 2026*, this
production takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through the life of
one of the most prolific and beloved songwriters in history. The show
features a book by Douglas McGrath, and words and music by Gerry Goffin,
Carole King, Barry Mann, and Cynthia Weil.

*Beautiful* tells the story of Carole King’s remarkable rise to stardom,
beginning with her early days as a Brooklyn teenager striving to sell her
songs. The musical follows her breakthrough as a chart-topping solo artist
with the iconic album *Tapestry*, while exploring the creative energy of
the legendary Brill Building era. Audiences will witness her collaborations
and friendly rivalries with fellow songwriting giants Gerry Goffin, Cynthia
Weil, and Barry Mann as they churned out hits for the biggest names in
music.

Directed by *Molly Cornwell*, with music direction by *David W. Coxe* and
choreography by *Kenya Woods*, the production features a dazzling
soundtrack of timeless classics. The score includes beloved hits such as “I
Feel the Earth Move,” “One Fine Day,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural
Woman,” “You've Got a Friend,” and “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”.

The CVLT production stars *Leah Saltzer* as Carole King, *Sam Bartlett* as
Gerry Goffin, *James Johnston* as Barry Mann, and *Alex Petsche* as Cynthia
Weil. They are joined by a talented supporting cast including *Lesley
Geldart* as Genie Klein and *William Bennett* as Don Kirschner, alongside a
vibrant 18-member ensemble portraying iconic groups like The Drifters and
The Shirelles, backed by a live 11-piece band.

*Beautiful: The Carole King Musical* is a celebration of resilience,
passion, and the power of finding your own voice.

*Performance Schedule and Ticket Information:*

   - *Dates:* March 27 – April 19, 2026.
   - *Times:* Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM; Sunday matinees on March
   29, April 12, and April 19 at 2:00 PM.
   - *Location:* 40 River Street, Chagrin Falls, OH.
   - *Tickets:* $24 for regular admission; $21 for seniors, students, and
   military personnel.

This production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre
International (MTI).

Tickets can be purchased online at CVLT.org, by calling the Box Office at
(440) 247-8955 (Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM), or at the door
starting two hours before each performance. CVLT suggests arriving as early
as possible to secure parking.
