The Gin Game opens Saturday March 21st at Makeshift Theatre
The Gin Game is a 1978 Pulitzer Prize-winning tragicomedy by D.L. Coburn about two elderly nursing home residents, Weller Martin and Fonsia Dorsey. They bond over gin rummy, but as Fonsia consistently wins, their games become a battleground for exposing their insecurities, failures, and loneliness.
