BroadviewHeights Spotlights Theater

Presents

“1984” based on the Novel by George Orwell

This stage adaptation is true to the novel in which Orwelldepicts with great power the horrors of man’s fate in a society where BigBrother is always watching—where everything that is not prohibited iscompulsory.

The show runs Fridays and Saturdays, April 17th toMay 2nd at 7:30PM, with one Sunday Matinee on April 26that 3:00PM. Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors and students. As the cast presents the play, you will beparticipating in a theatrical event that is both powerful and disturbinglyprovocative. Orwell himself once said, “I do not believe that the kind ofsociety I describe necessarily will arrive, but I believe that somethingresembling it could arrive. The moral to be drawn from the dangerous nightmaresituation is a simple one: Don’t let it happen. It depends on you.”
