*Chagrin Valley Little Theatre* (40 River Street, Chagrin Falls) is 
seeking volunteer talent for our upcoming production of /Big the 
Musical/, directed by Pam LaForce.

*Audition Dates:*
• Sunday, May 3rd: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Monday, May 4th: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Callbacks: Wednesday, May 6th, 7:00 PM

    Production Schedule

  * *First Read-Through:* May 31st, 2026
  * *Rehearsals:* Sunday – Thursday evenings
  * *Performance Run:* July 24th – August 16th, 2026


    Preparation Requirements

  * *Music:* 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song (not from
    /Big/). No Sondheim or Jason Robert Brown. Bring sheet music;
    accompanist provided.
  * *Materials:* Bring a theatrical resume and headshot.
  * *Dance:* Handled at callbacks. Bring tap shoes if you have them.
  * *Video Submissions:* Due by May 1st to tjones at cvlt.org.


    Available Roles

Josh Baskin (Age 25-35): 13-year-old mind in a 30-year-old body. Range: 
Bb2-B4.
Susan Lawrence (Age 30-40): Business VP with a hidden giddy innocence. 
Range: G3-F5.
Mrs. Baskin (Age 35-45): Josh’s protective, frustrated mother. Range: 
G3-F#5.
Billy Kopecki (Age 11-13): Josh’s optimistic best friend. Range: F#3-F5.
Young Josh Baskin (Age 11-13): Frustrated pre-teen. Range: F3-G5.
George MacMillan (Age 60-70): Playful owner of the toy company. Range: 
C3-G4.
Ensemble: Adults and children for various roles.
