Lend Me A Tenor (Comedy)
8 Performances: 9-25-2026 to 10-18-2026
(Rehearsals traditionally begin Mid July)
*Written by:* Ken Ludwig
Due to the Chagrin Film Festival we will not have performances the weekend
of October 9th. Winner of 3 Tony Awards and 4 Drama Desk Awards, Lend Me A
Tenor is set in September 1934. Saunders, the general manager of the
Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is primed to welcome world-famous singer
Tito Merelli, known as Il Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation,
to appear for one night only as the star of the opera. Tito arrives late,
and through a hilarious series of mishaps, he is given a double dose of
tranquilizers and passes out. His pulse is so low that Saunders and his
assistant Max believe he’s dead - and in a frantic attempt to salvage the
evening, Saunders persuades Max to get into Merelli's costume and fool the
audience into thinking he's Il Stupendo. Max succeeds and lives up to his
idol, but Merelli regains consciousness and gets into the identical
costume, ready to perform. Now two opera singers are running around in the
same costume and two women are running around in lingerie, each thinking
she is with Il Stupendo. A sensation on Broadway and in London's West End,
this madcap, screwball comedy is guaranteed to leave audiences teary-eyed
with laughter.
Anastasia (Musical)
14 performances: 11-13-2026 to 12-13-2025
(Rehearsals traditionally begin end of September of early October)
*Book by:* Terrence McNally, *music by:* Stephen Flaherty, *lyrics by:*
Lynn Ahrens
>From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens,
creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this
dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian
Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets
out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet
officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con
man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure
to help her find home, love and family.
Deathtrap (Comedy-Thriller)
8 Performances: 1-22-2027 to 2-7-2027
(Rehearsals traditionally begin mid November)
*Written by:* Ira Levin
Seemingly comfortable in his charming Connecticut home, Sidney Bruhl, a
successful writer of Broadway thrillers, is struggling to overcome a string
of recent failures and a shortage of funds. When a student in his writing
seminar sends him a new script – a thriller that Sidney recognizes
immediately as a potential Broadway hit – Sidney sees an opportunity. With
his wife’s help, he devises a plan to “collaborate” with the student, an
idea which the younger man quickly accepts. Suspense mounts steadily as the
plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness that builds to a
still-startling finale.
TBA (Musical)
10 performances: 3-26-2027 to 4-18-2027
(Rehearsals traditionally begin Mid January)
*Book, music, and lyrics by:* writing team Irene Sankoff and David Hein
Critically acclaimed musical featuring a culturally relevant script
accompanied by a deeply moving score by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. The
show has earned global success with 37 award nominations, 13 of which
resulted in wins, most notably Best New Musical at the 2019 Olivier Awards
and Outstanding Musical at the 2017 Drama Desk Awards. The show’s global
presence resonates across all audiences as an uplifting reminder of
humanity’s ability to come together, no matter what the circumstances. For

Broadway Bound (Comedy)

*Written:* Neil Simon
Part three of Neil Simon's acclaimed autobiographical trilogy finds Eugene
and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show
business as professional comedy writers while coping with their parents'
breakup and eventual divorce. When their material is broadcast on the radio
for the first time, the family is upset to hear a thinly-veiled portrait of
themselves played for laughs.
Footloose
11 Performances: 7-23-2027 to 8-15-2027
(Rehearsals traditionally begin at the end of May or early June.)
*Footloose*
*Book:* Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie, *music:* Tom Snow, *lyrics:* Dean
Pitchford
It tells the story of Ren McCormack, a Chicago teen who moves to the small,
conservative town of Bomont, where dancing is banned by the local preacher,
Reverend Shaw Moore, leading Ren to challenge the law and help the town
heal from a past tragedy. The show, which premiered on Broadway in 1998,
blends the film's iconic 80s soundtrack with new songs, celebrating youth
and challenging authority.
