I am looking for a youth theater group that would be interested in workshopping my new family friendly Christmas comedy “musical” as an educational experience for your actors (royalty free staging included if desired).
A Santa Carol the “Musical”: This show examines the stress of being Santa Claus. Meet and Greets with children are the only break he gets from the bureaucracy of the job. Santa becomes increasingly frustrated while spending a day dealing with off season meetings with lawyers, agents from the FAA and Labor Department, and an animal rights activist. The outlandishness of the meetings leads him to quit. It is up to the ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future to convince Santa to return to the North Pole.
