[NEohioPAL] The Singers' Club of Cleveland's May Concert: And All Nature Did Sing!

Fri May 8 14:52:54 PDT 2026

Nature – wild as a stray cat, lovely as the stars – is the theme of The
Singers’ Club of Cleveland’s next concert. The men’s chorus will perform
“And All Nature Did Sing!” May 16 in Rocky River and May 17 in Kirtland.

The program features familiar and lesser-known gems, finding harmony in
earth, animals and the universe. For every old chestnut (“Home on the
Range,” “What a Wonderful World”) there’s a lush Robert Frost poem (“The
Pasture”) or spirited Sibelius classic (“Forest Invocation”). For every
“Earth Song,” there’s an “Ad Astra (To the Stars).” The 50 men will show
their gentle side (“Seal Lullaby”), they’ll swing (“Stray Cat Strut”), and
they’ll salute their home (“Beautiful Ohio”). And there’ll be much more!

Concerts are at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at West Shore Unitarian
Universalist Church, 20401 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River, and 3 p.m. Sunday,
May 17, at Lakeland Community College, 7700 Clocktower Dr., Kirtland.
Tickets – pay what you wish, with a suggested $20 donation – are available
