As part of our Theater Workshop Summit, sponsored by Arts Now, you can learn the basics of stage makeup in this hands-on workshop designed for performers and theater creatives of all experience levels!

 

Participants will explore:

👀 “How much is too much?” vs. natural stage-ready looks
👴 Paint technique aging
🩹 Paint technique wounds

 

Come ready to apply makeup, experiment, and create in a fun, safe, no-stakes environment while learning techniques that help bring characters to life onstage.

Information on the presenter:

Inda Blatch-Geib is an award-winning costume and production designer whose work spans more than 40 years, 4 continents, and over 1,000 theatrical, commercial, and film productions. Her design credits include campaigns for Microsoft, McDonald’s, Footlocker, The Ohio Lottery, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as live productions for Machine Gun Kelly’s U.S. and European tours, ESTFEST, and Wolstein Arena events.

 

Her theatrical work includes productions with Karamu House, Cleveland Public Theatre, Cleveland Institute of Music, the Colombian National Opera, and the Broadway production of Kris Kringle, The Musical. Her designs have also been featured at The Smithsonian Institute, and film credits include The Signal starring Laurence Fishburne and The Con.

 

Inda is also the owner of Inda Blatch-Geib Designs, offering costume and production design, custom fabrication, and prop/set rentals.
