As part of our Theater Workshop Summit, sponsored by Arts Now, discover the magic behind scenic painting and stage transformation! In this hands-on workshop, attendees will decode professional renderings, experiment with dynamic paint and texture techniques, and learn how artists create breathtaking illusions that mimic real materials. From weathered brick to polished marble, participants will explore the creative process and practical skills that bring theatrical worlds to life. Saturday, June 20 at the Hudson Players3-6pm Participation is very limited, so register early!  Information on the Presenter: Jenny(She/Her) paints as a scenic artist throughout Northeast Ohio. She is currently on staff as Scenic Charge for the Cleveland Playhouse and is the resident scenic charge for Near West Theater. She has taught scenic painting at Baldwin Wallace University and regularly paints their main stage shows. She loves how close the Ohio theater community is and has painted for CMA’s Parade the Circle, Cleveland Opera Theater, Blank Canvas, Inlet Dance, Ballet Theater of Ohio, Carousel Dinner Theater, Sign Stage, Chagrin Arts Academy, and more. She is excited to have recently painted the drop for the newly launched touring show “What do you do with a Problem” for Inlet Dance company.
