Calling all high school singers!
Sing your way to a $10,000 College Scholarship!
Shining Star CLE, Northeast Ohio's premier "American Idol" style solo singing competition is back for 2026, and we're looking for standout student singers ready to take the stage.

Are you a talented high school solo singer graduating between 2027-2030 from: Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties, (homeschooled students too)? We want you to send in your audition NOW.
Entry is free, and all musical styles are welcome.

Join us for THE FINALS of Shining Star CLE on Sunday, August 23, 2026 * 6:30 pm.
Hosted by Mandel JCC of Cleveland and presented by KeyBank.

One performer will earn a $10,000 college scholarship, with additional scholarships awarded to the next three finalists and the fan favorite, along with an additional award to the winner's high school music department.

Shining Star CLE supports young artists' dreams while strengthening youth and senior programming in our community here at The J.
