Hi All, Just wanted to update you all on the PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION coming up on Wednesday November 19th at 7:00 located at Baldwin Wallace College. I was asked to attend a planning meeting last week to go over details of ensuring safety at the events planned for that evening, and there are a few things I wanted you all to be aware of. First, the demonstration has been moved to the outside of the Kliest Center as a safety percaution (so dress warm!). Second, and most important, I just wanted to remind everyone who is planning on or thinking of attending the demonstration that it is a PEACEFUL demonstration. The demonstration is about us standing together and putting positive light on homosexuality. To ensure the safety of everyone involved in the evening, there will be a code of conduct available upon arrival. I will give you fair warning that violence, verbal (threats) or physical, will not be welcome or tolerated at the event. In simple words the code asks that you honor diversity, by respecting the rights of others to express thier opinion the way we will be expressing ours. The third update is that the speaker will not be holding a traditional Q & A session, but will instead be available for conversation in the William Allman Theatre after he speaks in the John Patrick Theatre. Thank you all so much for your support! I will see you on the 19th at 7:00 as we stand together in honor of loving people as they are!! If you forwarded the original e-mail announcing the event, please also forward this e-mail, it is important people have this information. Any questions, comments? Please feel free to e-mail me. Thank you Amanda P.S. ---I would like to get an estimate on the number of people attending the event, so if you are planning on participating or bringing a group I would greatly appreciate an estimated number of how many people are coming along with you. Just send me an e-mail. Thanks again! Amanda
