Sue Johnson, Director of the <B>WAKE UP And LIVE's <I>Actors' Studio,</I> </B>is an actor, <BR>
director and coach whose professional credits include various roles in Cleveland area <BR>
theatres. Recent appearances include Arthur Miller's <I>The Ride Down Mt. Morgan</I>, Ibsen's<I> A Doll's House,</I> Neil Simon's <I>The Sunshine Boys,</I> Langston Hughes' <I>Simply Heavenly,</I> Ossie Davis' <I>Purlie,</I> Shakespeare's <I>The Merry Wives of Windsor.</I> She has been a recipient of the Karamu Actors Guild, 1999-2000 (Outer Circle) Award for "Best Supporting Actress in a Musical," for her role as Idella in Beck Center for the Arts production of <I>Purlie.</I> <BR>
TV credits include A & E's <I>100 Centre Street</I>, and films, <I>Antwone Fisher</I>, directed by Denzel Washington, and T<I>he Year That Trembled,</I> Jay Craven, Director. Her talent <BR>
resume lists numerous TV commercials, industrials, and voiceovers. <BR>
<BR>
Johnson is a playwright. She and her co-authors, Ruby Fox and Gary Webster have <BR>
written and performed <I>Harlem Blues,</I> a one-act play about African American actresses<BR>
who aspire, struggle, survive and live in a Harlem Boarding House. <BR>
<BR>
She was a producer and co-hosted "WAKE UP And LIVE with G.A.S."©, a series of three entertainment and arts talk shows heard on WELW Radio. <BR>

In her new book and lecture series, <I>Someday, This Will Be Funny</I>©, Sue discusses her philosophies on Life, with inspirational, enlightening, and humorous stories and advice about Surviving . . . Surviving My Life as an Actor & Other Myths. Someday, This Will Be Funny . . . shows you how to use various acting techniques to endure and live with life's foibles - big or small!<BR>
