<DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT size=2>It's very nice to hear your personal success

<DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have worked professionally in
this market for the past 20 years. The reason I and others make this
effort is so that Cleveland, in particular, does not lose any more valuable work
for the professional artist.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Union gigs have deteriorated. It's evident that the
non-union, <EM>paying</EM> opportunities have also deteriorated. That
means that we need more solidarity between ALL artists, union or
non-union. We are all losing valuable work and there is NO REASON that
people appearing in TV, Radio commercials or Print Ads shouldn't have the
respect of a pay check. They are ALL commercials designed to profit the
advertiser.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The camera man gets paid. The sound engineer
gets paid. EVERYONE else gets paid. They are often the employs of these TV

you.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>If every artist who hopes to become full time decides to
work for NO PAY, we are headed for a market that has NO Paying opportunities or
hope for advancement. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I can only equate this to the rapid rate that
global warming and pollution are destroying the planet. Every preventative
measure we take now will ensure the preservation of our environment in the

<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Our ultimate goal is to keep Cleveland alive in the

am pretty established as a model actress and singer in the Cleveland area.
However, there are times that I have taken a non-paid gig for exposure. In
particular, I did a print ad for a country band once with no pay, just a tear
sheet. That poster led me to a paid gig in which I will be flown out to LA in
Feb 2008 (with hotel accomadations) PLUS pay to shoot a music

don't get me wrong, I think the majority of the time we all should be paid. I
have been fortunate enough to be paid for the majority of work I do... I
follow the "4 P's" system. I will consider a job for Promo (exposure),
product, print and/or pay. My goal is to get at least 2 or more of teh "4 P's"
and usually I do. As an example of product? I am the Spokes Person for
Destination Travel 2. I do not get paid much other when I do an appearance or
print ad HOWEVER, I get to travel FOR FREE to all over and Destination Travel
pays the bill... In the past 6 months I have been to: Atlanta, Miami, San
Diego, Tijuana, Sanibel/Captiva Islands, Key West And Naples Florida. If you
ask me, not to bad for not getting paid and it is great exposure.
Because of my gig with Destination Travel, I landed an on air slot on the
radio in Daytona... Interviewed as an upcoming model/actress from Cleveland.
All due to exposure. Hmmm... So tell me, would you not take this job just
because it is mostly exposure and no direct pay? I also work with Genesis Hair
and Skin. I've done 3 print ads for them for no pay. However, I get the use of
their salon and all their products, free laser facials, foot detox, oxygenated
laser therapy for the skin and let me tell you IT DOES WORK!!!! A yearly
package for these services well over $4,000. So again I ask, am I wasting
my time because this job doesn't directly pay? I happen to feel I made
out on this deal because I recieved free exposure, print work and FREE
Service/Product... Not to shabby...</DIV>
