<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">High School</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>’s
upcoming “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” which is Nov. 9-11.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>“I feel so fortunate because it really is a dream
role,” says Molly, 17, who has danced since she was 9 years old. “I
get to dance a ton. It’s a fun story.”<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>All three girls are required to do a lot of singing and
dancing – especially tap dance.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>“There are a lot of seniors who are very
talented,” Molly continues. “I never in a million years thought I
would get that role.” <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>Molly’s passion is tap, jazz and hip hop, and both she
and <st1:country-region w:st="on">Ashanti</st1:country-region> are members of
the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on"><b><span style='font-weight:bold'>Ohio</span></b></st1:State></st1:place><b><span
style='font-weight:bold'> Youth Ballet’s dance team division</span></b>. The
OYB is a non-profit pre-professional dance company housed at The Turning Pointe
School of Dance, <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">2387 Locust St.
S.</st1:address></st1:Street>, Canal Fulton. <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region
w:st="on">Ashanti</st1:country-region></st1:place> also is a member of the <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>OYB’s ballet division</span></b>. <st1:place
w:st="on">Erin</st1:place> was a member of the dance team last year and
continues to take tap and ballet classes at The Turning Pointe. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><st1:place w:st="on"><font size=3 face=Arial><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Erin</span></font></st1:place><font
face=Arial><span style='font-family:Arial'>, 17, loves to sing and has been
dancing since she was 4 years old. She said she is excited to play Miss
Dorothy, which was a top choice for her.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>“It’s an awesome show,” <st1:place w:st="on">Erin</st1:place>
said. “I’m glad we’re doing this for my senior year.”<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>After high school, Molly and Erin plan to pursue musical
theater in college and <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Ashanti</st1:country-region></st1:place>
plans to pursue modern dance. Auditions for colleges have already begun, and
being accepted to a good program is an extremely competitive process.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>Molly says the Turning Pointe School of Dance has helped her
to become a well-rounded student and has prepared her for a dance career.
Ultimately, both she and Erin would like to dance on Broadway. Later, Molly
said she may possibly return to the Turning Pointe but in a different capacity
– as guest artist or teacher. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

the area,” she said. “I used to be shy. It’s really a great
