School</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> presents its Fall dramatic production of Neil
Simon’s “The Odd Couple,” November 8<SUP>th</SUP> at <st1:time w:st="on"
Hour="19" Minute="0">7:00PM</st1:time>, <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>November 9<SUP>th</SUP> and
10<SUP>th</SUP> at <st1:time w:st="on" Hour="19" Minute="30">7:30PM</st1:time>,
and a matinee performance November 10<SUP>th</SUP><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>at <st1:time w:st="on" Hour="14"
Minute="0">2:00PM</st1:time>.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Director David Banks has added a <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>new challenging twist to their program as
they will also present Simon’s “The Odd Couple, Female Version” the very next
week on November 15<SUP>th</SUP> at 7:00PM, November 17<SUP>th</SUP> at 7:30PM,
with matinee performances on November 17<SUP>th</SUP> and 18<SUP>th</SUP> <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>at 2:00PM in the school’s newly renovated
Theatre, located at 4550 Wyoga Lake Road, in Cuyahoga Falls. </FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in"><FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=2>Both versions have been performed on Broadway,
most recently with <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Nathan
Lane</st1:address></st1:Street> and Matthew Broderick in the lead roles.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon starred in
the original motion picture.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The
female version starred Sally Struthers and Rita Moreno.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The comedic storyline is based around
two divorcees who are now roommates.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Oscar’s sloppiness destroys a room with the speed of a tornado while the
hypochondriac Felix’s obsession with cleanliness could be classified as
psychotic! </FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in"><FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=2>The Walsh Jesuit High School Theatre has completed
a massive renovation, and “The Odd Couple” and “The Odd Couple, Female Version”
will be the first theatrical presentations in the venue. It will feature all new
lighting and sound, along with renovated seating and an enlarged backstage
area.</FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in"><FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=2>Cast as Oscar Madison is Mark Leach of Norton, and
Hayden Gilbert from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City
w:st="on">Akron</st1:City></st1:place> as Felix. Caroline Bach of Copley plays
<st1:City w:st="on">Florence</st1:City>, the female version of Felix and Elise
Hapanowicz from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Cleveland
Heights</st1:City></st1:place> plays Olive. <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The comedy also includes some fabulous
supporting roles such as the Pigeon Sisters, played by Mary Belovich of
Brecksville and Morgan Whitley of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Chagrin</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">Falls</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. Possibly even more outrageous are
the Costazuela brothers from the female version, performed by Luke Hearty of
<st1:City w:st="on">Bedford</st1:City>, and Alex Coundourides of <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Brunswick</st1:City></st1:place>. <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Rounding out the cast is Ryan Bellmore
of<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Brecksville, Michael Saltis,
Rachel Scarponi<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>and Andrew Burge
from Akron, Scott Salomone and Lauren Cole of Cuyahoga Falls, Jay Swedyk from
Hinkley, Leanna Lostowski of Kent, Angela Jozsa of Stow and Jenna Shumiloff of
Streetsboro. </FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman" size=2>Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for
