Audition Preparation: </B>Please prepare two short musical selections of contrasting styles in your key; bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided. If auditioning for one of Non-singing roles prepare a short classical monologue. May asked to read from the script. <BR>

<B>Rehearsals</B> begin around February 18. <BR>

<B>Performances Dates</B>: March 8 through 23 on Studio One Stage at The Cleveland Play House.<BR>

El Gallo (The Narrator): A handsome gallant; a baritone: A flat- High G<BR>
Luisa (The Girl): A romantic idealist; soprano: B to High B <BR>

Matt (The Boy): An innocent young man; baritone/tenor: A-High G<BR>
Bellomy (The Girl’s Father): A merchant, also a picky gardener; baritone: A-F sharp<BR>
Hucklebee (The Boy’s Father): Former navy man, meticulous gardener; baritone: A-F sharp<BR>
Henry (The Actor): An aging, over-the-top thespian; Non-Singer<BR>
Mortimer (The Man who dies): Henry’s goofy side kick; Non-Singer<BR>
The Mute: A speechless presence who watches. Male or female. Non-singer<BR>
