performer, teacher and master of physical comedy, Avner the Eccentric.<br><span><br></span>Theater
Ninjas presents this weekend intensive In association with the Mandel JCC.  This intriguing workshop will give
participants a firm grounding in
physical comedy techniques. <br><br><span>The Weekend Intensive includes 3 components:</span>
<p><b>Master Classes in Eccentric Performing</b><br>
Friday, Jan 11th, 7-10pm<br>
Sunday, Jan 13th, 2-6pm<br>
Explore the fundamentals of physical comedy and physical theater!
Participants will explore three areas: balance and control of the
space, meeting and establishing complicity with the audience and with
partners, and problem solving as a method of working on stage.</p>

Join us to witness Avner's unique mastery of stage! A mix of clowning,
amazing feats of balance, and skilled silliness, Avner's one-man show
is an extraordinary experience of remarkable virtuosity and endearing
naivete. Workshop participants are also invited to a post-performance
talk-back.</p>

<p><b>Workshop Works-in-Progress</b><br>
Sunday, Jan 13th, 6-8pm<br>
Bring in your own projects for exploration! A master of devising
original work, Avner lends us his expertise to facilitate the progress
of our creations. Participants interested in having Avner view/critique
their work should specify the running time when signing up;
length should be between 5 to 15 minutes long. All participants are
encouraged to join us for this segment of the weekend intensive.</p>
