every Broadway show has a buried gem or two that you don't often see
trotted out for a musical revue. For every 'Tomorrow' (<i>Annie</i>)
there's an 'Easy Street' and for every 'Wilkommen' (<i>Cabaret</i>)
there's a 'Money'. On New Year's Eve 7 singers, backed by Robert Day
(North Coast Men's Chorus) and combo, will perform these and other
great songs to send off 2007 while raising money for Chagrin Valley
Little Theatre's 78th season and beyond. Ring in 2008 with music you
nearly forgot about from luminaries of the musical theatre genre like
Rogers & Hammerstein, Harnick & Bock, Stephen Schwartz, Cole
Porter and others.<br>

This is CVLT's third New Year's fund raiser event, and brings back
several crowd favorites. The returning ensemble features siblings
Andrew and Greta Rothman and their mother Paula Pike, along with Eric
Alan (recently seen as 'Gaston' in Near West's <i>Beauty & The
Beast</i>) and rising star Talia Cosentino. This year audiences will
also be treated to the sweet tones of tenor Brian Altman, and the
soprano fireworks of Ryann Angelotti. Choreographer Pamela LaForce
lends her talents to the mix, as the group covers the songs from
classic musicals which you aren't sick of yet!<br>

the show, the theatre will host a reception featuring hors d'oeuvres
and champagne punch. The event begins at 8 PM, so you should have
plenty of time to reach your midnight destinations. Tickets are $30.</p>
