Provided<BR>The DNA of a script is the basic building blocks of scene
investigation.<BR>The discovery and identification of these separate elements
will deepen<BR>the actor’s understanding to the material and heighten the
ability to live<BR>“in-the-moment”. Moment to moment acting is indispensable and
vital<BR>to the creation of moving and believable performances. The scene
study<BR>and analysis will guide the performer to the organic communication
of<BR>these moments, resulting in pure action; clear, economic, committed
and<BR>comprehensive. This process and its principals can be applied to
every<BR>monologue, scene, every separate act, and an entire play.<BR>Actor and
Director scene investigation:<BR>• A step by step approach; investigation leads
to doing rather than being.<BR>• Clear, immediate, easily accessible; a one page
reference graph becomes<BR>the actor’s roadmap; a guide that leads the performer
to actions.<BR>• Creation of a character map; a quick reference; getting
acquainted with<BR>the play and discovering important patterns which may go
unnoticed.<BR>• Clarification of beats and units in every moment of the scene or
