<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>Goldmark studies American popular music, film, cartoon music, and the history of the music industry. He published <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Tunes for Toons: Music and the Hollywood Cartoon </I>and co-edited <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">The Cartoon Music Book, and Beyond the Soundtrack:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Representing Music in Cinema.</I> He spent several years working in the animation and music industries including serving as research editor for Rhino Records in Los Angeles. He has a Ph.D. in Musicology from University of California, Los Angeles.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
