signing of “The Declaration of Independence”. These events include Thomas
Jefferson being convinced by John Adams and Benjamin Franklin to write the
Declaration as well as George Washington writing reports of too many military
defeats. The quest for <st1:country-region w:st="on">America</st1:country-region>’s
independence is almost ended when one more vote against the Declaration will
stand in the way freedom from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Britain</st1:country-region></st1:place>.
Much of the music and dialogue in <i><span style='font-style:italic'>1776</span></i>
is taken from eye-witness accounts of the founding fathers. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
