Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Lyndhurst, Pepper Pike, Shaker Heights, Parma,
Richmond Heights, Solon, South Euclid, Rocky River, and University Heights),
kick up their heels in Heights Youth Theatre’s musical production of <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Footloose</I>. Ren McCormack and his mother
Ethel move from Chicago to the small town of Beaumont where dancing has been
banned due to a</FONT></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Sylfaen; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial"><FONT
size=3> law that dates back five years to a car accident that claimed the lives
of four Beaumont teenagers. <SPAN style="COLOR: #333333"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Ren befriends Ariel Moore, the Reverend’s
daughter, and is determined do what he can to bring back dance to the town. The
shows hit songs are some of the mainstays of the 80’s: Eric Carmen’s <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Almost Paradise</I>, as well as , <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Let’s</I> <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Hear it for the Boy</I>, <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Holding Out for a Hero</I>, <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Somebody’s Eyes, </I>to name a few. See
the show before it hits the screen in a remake of the Kevin Bacon classic,
starring Zac Efron of <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">High School
Musica</I>l fame and </SPAN>directed/choreographed by Kenny Ortega.</FONT> <SPAN
