Chagrin Light Orchestra (Chagrin Light) announces that “Star Light: A
Space Odyssey”—a space-themed concert and the last of its 2007-08
season—will be performed on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 8 p.m, at the
Chagrin Valley Little Theatre. The concert will feature popular scores
from timeless science fiction classics, including <i><span style='font-style:
italic'>Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back;</span></i> <i><span
style='font-style:italic'>E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial; Star Trek’s </span></i>original
theme and select scores from <i><span style='font-style:italic'>Deep Space
Nine, The Inner Light, The Next Generation, Voyager, </span></i>and <i><span
style='font-style:italic'>The Motion Picture</span></i>; and <i><span
style='font-style:italic'>Close Encounters of the Third Kind</span></i>, as
well as classical works including Holst <i><span style='font-style:italic'>(The
Planets) Mars</span></i> made famous in the movie <i><span style='font-style:
italic'>2001: A Space Odyssey</span></i>. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
