the New York-based artist whose stunning, iconic installation entitled <I>Red
Eyed Skywalkers</I> will overtake Playhouse Square with a swarm of 100 red
balloons overlooking downtown Cleveland – several of which are equipped to
capture video images from the festival and transmit to screens throughout the
area and online.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The result is a
multidimensional exhibit that allows playful access to aerial perspectives, with
a subtle commentary on public surveillance and wireless
media.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

Columbia University artist collective comprised of Petia Morozov, Iain Kerr, and
Sean White, have undertaken a complex festival installation entitled <I>Crooked
River in First and Third Persons</I>, which documents the history and current
image of the Cuyahoga River via a series of interactive “songlines” – audio and
video date collected directly from the water surface, and transmitted via web,
cell phone, and to live broadcast outlets within the festival
image.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
