<P class=MsoNormal><FONT face="Times New Roman"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">This is the first Summer that the Cassidy Theatre will operate as a separate, non-profit theatre company, now known as Cassidy Theatre Inc., since becoming independent from the City of <ST1:CITY w:st="on"><ST1:PLACE w:st="on">Parma Heights</ST1:PLACE></ST1:CITY> this year. Director Kevin Joseph Kelly says <EM>Grease</EM> is a great way to start a fun Summer Theatre Season at the newly independent theatre. “It’s a perfect summer show to do” he says. “It’s a lot of fun and the summer craves something for everybody to go to. It really is a family show.” Kelly adds “Now that the Cassidy is an independent theatre, I think it’s a great way to bring new people into the theatre who may be there for the first time.”<O:P></O:P></SPAN></FONT></P><U1:P></U1:P></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><EM>Grease</EM> is a musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Set in 1959 in fictional Rydell High in <ST1:CITY w:st="on"><ST1:PLACE w:st="on">Chicago</ST1:PLACE></ST1:CITY>, the show focuses on the romance between high schoolers Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski and tackles such social issues as teenage pregnancy and gang violence; its themes include love, friendship, teenage rebellion, sexual exploration during adolescence and, to some extent, class consciousness/class conflict. The show's score celebrates '50s rock and roll as well as doo-wop and other contemporary styles. <O:P></O:P></SPAN></FONT></P><U1:P></U1:P></DIV>
