group at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Cleveland</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">State</st1:PlaceType> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>,
will be holding auditions for a short film on Saturday July 19th.<span style=""> </span>They will be held in room 107 of the Music
and <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Communication</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Building</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>, located at <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">2121 Euclid Avenue</st1:address></st1:Street>.<span style=""> </span>Auditions will begin at 1:00pm. Headshots,
resumes, and a prepared monologue no longer than 90 seconds are encouraged, but
not required, and each actor will be expected to do a cold reading of the
script.<span style=""> </span>Auditions will last no longer
than 15 minutes.<span style=""> </span>Actors chosen for the
film will receive credit in the final project and a copy of the film for his or
her portfolio.<span style=""> </span>The film will be shot between
July 24<sup>th</sup> and July 27<sup>th</sup>, and we are currently planning

stands for Film Research: Advanced Methodologies for Empirical Study.<span style=""> </span>The research team is comprised of both
faculty and students who strive to develop a better understanding of film and
its effects. </p>

Characters:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>MONICA: A college-aged woman.<span style=""> </span>She is sweet and good-natured but a little
clumsy.<span style=""> </span>She has a passion for psychology
and works as a research assistant. It is a position that puts her in a
precarious and comical situation when an experiment does not go quite as
planned. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>DR. CAIN: An older college psychology professor.<span style=""> </span>He conducts experiments for the university,
knowing that he can always make participants out of students needing extra
credit.<span style=""> </span>Dr. Cain is slightly
absent-minded and tends to be the only one laughing at his own jokes.<span style=""> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>PROFESSOR JAMES: A middle-aged college professor. He is very
strict but will assist students if he feels they deserve his time.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>LITTLE GIRL: 5 – 8 years of age. She is an imaginary figure
brought about by a psychological experiment. It is a small role, and will only
require half a day of shooting.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>EXTRAS: </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">YOUNG LADIES in their 20’s that are figments of a young
man’s imagination.<span style=""> </span>These roles would
require the actresses to be in swimsuits. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>SCIENTISTS that are middle-aged to older. They assist Dr.
Cain in research experiments.</p>
