<DIV>Is there anyone <EM>familiar with or paid for</EM> workshops
with "A.C.T", the <EM>Academy of Cinema and TV</EM>. They discover
and launch Actors, Singers, Dancers into Commercials, TV & Film.
</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>They recently blazed through Cleveland looking for talented kids age
6-16. They boast their connections w/ MGM, 20th Century Fox, ABC Family as
well as major casting directors and agents. After sifting through about a
thousand kids they call back about 75 "who have potential" and then trim the
group again. Then they "suggest" workshops to attend with industry
professionals who fly in once a month to conduct them just for the chosen kids
in Cleveland. They stress "talent potential," "committment" and
"readiness to be launched." </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Their worksops start at $1,950 and go up. Anyone know if they
successful beyond the glossy brochures and claims? Is this expensive in
the industry? Anyone know if the workshops are good or actually launched
them into the business? Their website is <A

<DIV>Much appreciate feedback on ACT, their workshops, professional
business acumen and their true success stories. </DIV>
<DIV>Thank you</DIV>
