<DIV align=center><FONT face="Comic Sans MS"></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV align=center><STRONG><FONT face=Georgia>A good-natured switchboard
operator, working for her cousin's answering service, tries to improve the lives
of her clients by passing along bits of information she hears from other
clients. She falls in love with one of them even though she has never met
him.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV align=center><STRONG><FONT face=Georgia>Over the phone and under the
assumed identity of an old woman, </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV align=center><STRONG><FONT face=Georgia>she helps him write a play.

bookie masquerading as a record distributor who uses her business as a front for
his illegal activity. To complicate matters, the police think the
answering service is a call girl operation, which leads to a madcap ending.
