songs are presented as soliloquies, except for a wedding song in the middle,
where the two characters share a duet and interact for the first and only time
throughout the entire one act musical.<span style=""> </span>The
music soars effortlessly from one song to the next stirring the vast corners of
the soul and garnered the 2002 Drama Desk Award for outstanding music and
lyrics.<span style=""> </span></font><o:p></o:p></span></p><div style="text-align: center;"><br><br><br><font size="5">The Last 5 Years is a Two person musical that will be Double Cast.</font><br><br><font size="5">We are looking for 2 men and 2 women for:</font><br><br><font size="5">Jamie: Bari-Tenor, plays late 20s to early 30s.</font><br><br><font size="5">Kathy: Mezzo-Soprano/Belt, plays early 20s to late 20s. </font><br><br><font size="5">Please prepare one song in the style of the show or prepare a song from the show.</font><br><br><font size="5">Callbacks will be Thursday August 21st. </font><br><br><font size="5">Rehearsals begin August 25th, and run Monday thru Thursday 7pm to 10pm.</font><br><br><font size="5">Performance dates are September 12th through September 21st.</font><br><br><font size="5">Audition
