<P><B>Weathervane Playhouse will hold OPEN-CALL AUDITIONS </B>for <B><I>LOVE!
VALOUR! COMPASSION!</B> </I>by Terrence McNally. Auditions will be held at
Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane (in the Valley off Merriman Road)
on <B>Monday and Tuesday, September 8 and 9 at 7 p.m.</P>
<P>Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script; </B>auditioners are
asked to be familiar with the script. <B>ELEVEN performances are scheduled in
Weathervane’s John L. Dietz Theatre October 30 – November 15, 2008.</P></B>

<P align=center>7 Men – Early 20s through Late 40s</P></B>
<P>Director for the production is <B>Jim Fippin</B>. Fippin has been acting,
directing and otherwise engaged in theater in northeast Ohio for more than 20
years. He has appeared on stage at Porthouse Theatre, Weathervane Playhouse,
Coach House Theatre and with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival. His acting resume
includes roles in <I>King Lear, Twelfth Night, Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet,
Another Antigone, The Lion in Winter, The Odd Couple, Uncle Vanya, The Real
Thing, Macbeth </I>and<I> Custer</I>. As the Artistic Director of Coach House
Theatre, Jim staged productions of <I>Chapter Two, Betrayal, Last of the Red Hot
Lovers, Art, Private Lives, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? </I>and <I>A Life in
the Theatre.</I> In 2005, he was recognized by the Akron Area Arts Alliance as
the area’s Outstanding Theatre Artist. Jim earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in
Theatre from Otterbein College. He directed <I>Someone Who’ll Watch over Me</I>
for Weathervane last season.</P></FONT><FONT face=Helvetica></DIV>
