hold auditions this weekend for the twisty, sure to fool and amuse
mystery-comedy “ACCOMPLICE” by Rupert Holmes on September 14 &
15 at 7 p.m. at the Barlow Community Center at 41 S. Oviatt St in Hudson. Roles
are available for two men and two women with interested crew and production
team members also being sought. Auditions are open to all with no restrictions
but auditioners are requested to be 21 or over. Copies of the audition scenes
will be available ahead of time at the Hudson Library and those auditioning
will be asked to read from the script. English accents are encouraged. More

Lillibridge, ACCOMPLICE will be presented as part on the long running community
theater troupe’s 64<sup>th</sup> Season, November 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 &
22. Not recommended for children, this mystery of a mystery takes place on a
rainy night and features love, lust, jealousy, greed and revenge. As one
reviewer put it: “it has all the trappings of an old-fashioned murder
mystery written by, let's say, Agatha Christie, if Dame Agatha decided to
ingest a hallucinatory drug before sitting down to her trusty Royal
typewriter.” ACCOMPLICE will keep you guessing who is killing whom?
For whom? And who is whom anyway? This audacious twist on the twisted mystery
plot is a plot within a plot within a play within a plot. Or is it a play
within a plot with a plot within a play…or is it…simply too much
fun? Theater goers are encouraged to just give up guessing and enjoy the
wickedly funny ride. In fact, we could tell you all about the plot twists and
other surprises that leave the audience gasping, but then we'd have to kill
you. Or would we? Maybe you would have to kill us. Or maybe we could, together,

back, fun 50’s musical journey that is THE TAFFETAS and THE CARDIGANS.
Sponsored by The Laurel Lake Foundation these great musicals will be presented
February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 22, 27 & 28. Written by Rick Lewis these two
popular shows are being assembled together as a single evening’s
entertainment for the first time ever! Join Kaye, Peggy, Cheryl and Donna, four
singing sisters from Muncie, Indiana as they reminisce about making their
national television singing debut. THE TAFFETAS pay tribute to the sounds of
The McGuire Sisters, The Fontane Sisters and The Chordettes. Opening
Off-Broadway almost two years before "Forever Plaid," THE TAFFETAS
proves to be an irresistible evening and remind you what Sunday night
television was like in black and white! They then introduce THE CARDIGANS, who
hailed originally from Wooster, Ohio - the College of Wooster, to be exact!
Join the boys as they reminisce about their college days, their ex-girlfriends,
their childhoods as sons of Protestant ministers, and their fame as singing
idols. They'll sing some of the greatest hits of the 1950's – songs you
know and love and that they recorded on their first album, "Wooster in my
Heart." THE CARDIGANS is music, fun and harmony. Winner of the 1990

Finally, the Hudson Players will close their 2008-09 season with the classic
musical fable that is GUYS AND DOLLS. With performances being held April 24,
25, May 1, 2, 8, 8, 10, 15 & 16, many say that this show is the perfect
musical comedy. Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, this
oddball romantic and comedic event soars with the spirit of Broadway as it
introduces us to a cast of vivid characters who have become legends in musical
theater history. Nathan, Sky, Adelaide, Sarah sing through such hits as
“Luck Be A Lady,” “Sit Down You’re Rocking the
Boat” and more. There is plenty of excitement, but everything works out
in the end, thanks to the machinations of Abe Burrows and Jo Swerling's
hilarious, fast-paced book and Frank Loesser's bright, brassy, immortal score,
which takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and
even into the sewers of New York City. Funny, fast paced and romantic, <span
style='text-transform:uppercase'>Guys And Dolls</span> is ideal for audiences
