<p class=MsoNormal>The Tri-C Performing Arts Division kicks off
its 2008-2009 season with the return of <a
href="http://www.philipglass.com/" target="_new"><span style='color:windowtext'>Philip
Glass</span></a> at 8 p.m. on October 3 at the Ohio Theatre. Last to hit
the Tri-C stage in 2001, an evening of Philip Glass' <i>Etudes and Other Work
for Solo Piano</i> is a rare opportunity to experience this influential
composer's work firsthand. The program features his most recent <i>Etudes</i>
for piano, as well as classics in Glass' repertoire, and provides a glimpse
into the intricacies of the composer's work in its most elemental form. An
Academy Award, Golden Globe, Grammy and Oscar nominated artist, Philip Glass
has transformed music in the 20<sup>th</sup> century with his distinct style<i>.<o:p></o:p></i></p>
