Students, along with a parent or guardian, will work on theatrical fundamentals
such as storytelling, emotional expression, creative movement, musical
awareness, and vocal exploration.</EM></FONT></DIV>
<DIV align=center><FONT face=Arial size=4><EM></EM></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV align=center><FONT face=Arial><FONT size=4><EM>This class is taught in the
style of a "mommy-and-me" class. Students will use their imaginations in a
variety of storytelling activities such as crafts, puppetry, music and movement
exploration, dramatic play and creative invention. These exercises provide a
foundation for theatrical skills such as understanding story elements, character
development, creative movement, vocal exploration, and improvisation. Students
will also actively engage in creating elements of technical theatre such as
costumes, props, make-up, or scene design. This course is designed to be
repeated.</EM></FONT></FONT></DIV>
